An officer, Joe Gliniewicz comes across a suspicion scene in an abandoned property, where he claimed he was in pursuit of three men on foot, he later calls for backup and when they arrive they find Joe dead from two gunshot wounds, and his weapons strewn about. The search for the cop killers was in full force, but this just the beginning for this small town murder turned mystery!
Big thanks to Andy Blake for researching and writing our crimeline for this episode.

TCG PROPER-
Now for this week on TCG proper, Lorne and I will be trying to unravel the confusing case of a local town hero, seemingly gunned down in the line of duty. Sending a small town into a frenzied search for his killers, only to uncover secrets about their beloved hero, that makes everyone question what really happened to their town’s walking, talking, G.I. Joe.
Now for SandU this week guys, there is nothing “new” for SandU proper on the free platforms. And I say nothing new, because for this week, the freeloaders will be getting a taste of what our patrons already got to experience last week. We are releasing the latest chapter of SandU stories, wherever you get your podcasts. You guys will be able to get a free sample of our most produced and theatrical show, that’s released every month on our Patreon. This month's story took our listeners to a remote wellness retreat, where a small-time musician gets a gig that he thinks will be a simple payday. Only to discover this wellness group, preaches a little bit more than healthy living and peaceful meditation.
Over on Patreon, our listeners will get their weekly dose of the strange from Andy and me. On strange shorts. This week Andy brings us some incredibly demanding parents, a murderous ram, and even some college cult shit. So if you guys haven’t already, head on over to our Patreon, where you can have access to our goofy selves every week.
now over on JTB this past Friday, Lorne and I posed a simple question to our patrons . What’s your favorite Go to meal to make. And lemme tell ya, we got lots of responses on this one that made taste buds start to drool pretty early on.
Also over on Patreon, it was time for another five minute murder show. Lorne's getting into a rhythm. As he is trying to highlight smaller murders, that usually have gone cold for many years at this point, and have now finally been able to be solved with the help of modern technology, late confessions, or even outside help. This one, where a 71 year old man was brutally stabbed to death inside his home in 1990. But not until 2003, did justice ever come, when an unnamed witness came forward to finally give police their first real lead in the case.
And last but not least guys, we head over to our west coast gang to check in on how everything has been breaking down in the NFC west this week on full house fantasy football. The season is inching closer and closer each week and Lorne and the guys are chomping at the bit to finally start breaking down games week by week for you all.
Steve Herr enters his son Sam’s apartment in Costa Mesa, California and makes a shocking discovery. The body of 23-year-old Juri Kibuishi, lay in his son’s bedroom.
Sam was nowhere to be found, so naturally police concluded he had gone on the run after killing Juri. The search for Sam began as detectives started tracking Sam’s debit card transactions. What they found was a man who was "acting" very naive.

TCG PROPER-PREV. WEEK AND UPCOMING
Now for this past episode of TCG proper, Lorne and I sat down to give you guys a deep dive into the Costa Mesa murders. Where in 2010, Julie Kibuishi and Sam Herr, we’re both murdered by a local, small time actor and wanna be conman. Who ended up leading police after one of his victims, instead of searching for the killer himself.
Now guys, it’s that time again, and you know what time I’m talking about.. It’s effin SandU stories week. And for all our Patreon listeners out there, it was finally time we took our own advice, and went and did some cult shit. So please, if you haven’t already, go check out our Patreon, where you can listen to this, and every other episode of SandU stories, and you can really get a sense of some of the other special content we offer over there on the best $5 tier available.
But for everyone on the free platforms, we of course didn’t forget about you guys. Andy and I were back again this week on both audio, and again on video for the free episode of Strange Shorts. Where the two of us fumbled our way through some of the weird stories that we find from around the world. We’ve got pocket snakes, dick pics for hackers, and even picking wild dicks for tourists… I know how it sounds, but trust me. It’ll make sense when you check it out.
JTB was back again as usual this week with an open floor Q and A. Lorne and I gave our responses to questions like how we may use a time machine, some of our favorite local spots, and even a pretty serious moral conundrum that one of our listeners threw out there. So check that out over on Patreon and the video for that has been uploaded as well.
Also over on Patreon, it was time for another five minute murder show. This week Lorne talked about how far a mother will go to find justice for her slain daughter, and how she put the police to shame when it came time to finally put in the real work in finding her killer.
And last but not least, over on full house fantasy football, Lorne and our west coast gang got together for one more breakdown this week. As the guys gave us an overview of how the NFC South is looking this offseason, and what anyone should be looking out for this coming year.

So for this past week on TCG proper, we covered one truly unlucky son of a bitch, Harold Henthorn. The poor sap who had not one, but two wives, both die in tragic “accidents”. Leaving him broken, alone, yet, strangely wealthy off those life insurance policies he had taken out on both of his deceased wives… can you see where this is going yet? Yeah…
Now for this upcoming episode, we get into a twisting tale of one murder, becoming two, and a local scam artist who gets in way over his head when trying to get away with his latest score. And we see what happens when an “actor” tries to fool the cops with a performance.
And over on SandU proper this week. Michael takes a look at the mysterious death of Lauren Cho. The bubbly high school music teacher and apprentice body piercer, who seemingly vanished into the California desert one day with no signs of why or where she may have gone. Only to then turn up dead not far from where search parties had been looking.
But over on Patreon as well, Andy and Michael are back as well with strange shorts. Where they have some spicy Mother’s Day gifts, an overly confident criminal, a dedicated drinker who wants justice, and even some cannabis news out of Thailand that gets them both pretty excited.
JTB was back again as usual this week with a laid back and casual conversation about what we all prefer to do at get togethers and BBQs. Now that the weather is starting to warm up and people have been breaking out the grills and cornhole boards, we wanted to see what our listeners like to bring to the party as well.
Also over on Patreon, it was time for another five minute murder show. This week I talked about the case of Ginny Hannon, who was tragically murdered and robbed in her home in 1984. Not until 36 years later, when the killer finally confessed on his deathbed, was the case ever solved and put to rest.
And last but not least, this week over on full house fantasy football. Tori, Josh and I get together and breakdown everything going on in the AFC south, and what trades, pick ups, and releases that have been going down this off season. And we apologize again for not having video this week. Technology can be a bitch sometimes and we will get it back up for you guys next week.
In this one we discuss a man who just has the worst luck ever! He had TWO wives die in freak accidents, where he was the only witness, no less. Poor guy, at least he had their large life insurance policies to ease the pain. *eye rollin' so fricken hard*

One of the oldest and most infamous unsolved cases in Colorado's history..
The Case of Peggy Hettrick. Where a young man was convicted of a brutal rape and murder, because of his location and interests. This is a frustrating "who done it" with twist and turns and and plenty of dead ends.

TCG Proper:
So as many of you are probably already aware, Lorne was on vacation this past week. So we cracked open the Patreon vault for our freeloaders and gave them a blast from the past with our two hour episode on one of the scariest bitches we know, Jodi Arias. The obsessed and unhinged girlfriend, who brutally murdered her on and off again boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in 2008, and tried quite unsuccessfully to cover it up.
And this coming wednesday on TCG you can expect a listener suggestion and one of Colorado’s most infamous and still unsolved murders. Where one man spent 10 years in prison for the crime, before DNA evidence finally cleared his name.
SandU proper is back this week, where we talked about the incredibly mysterious disappearance of 24 yr old geologist, Daniel Robinson. Who seemingly vanished into thin air, in the desert outside Phoenix Arizona in June of 2021. His car was later found overturned in a ravine, with his clothes, wallet, phone, keys, and even a case of water still inside. This one stinks of foul play…
And then for Strange Shorts. Where Andy and I are giving our patrons their weekly dose of all things weird. Including some explosively ignorant American tourists, Japans’ interest in possibly making Godzilla a reality, and even a murder… Most fowl…quack…. all that and more for our Patreon listeners this week.
And guys since Lorne was back from his vacation, he started JTB off this week with a wild story of his own. Then we ventured into bad vacations of our own, and other listener questions like other languages we spoke or wished we spoke, some common crimes that are in our areas, and some fun “what if’s “, and “would you rather”. And once again, all the JTB videos are being posted to patreon as well following the original audio posts. Speaking of awesome visuals…
With Lorne’s return also comes the 5 Minute Murder show. In which Lorne gave our patreon listeners another brutal case, this one of 9 year old Maurice Ann Ciavarella, whos murder went unsoved for nearly 60 years, before DNA finally connected the dots to her killer.
Now there was no Full House Fantasy Football this week, no need to worry, Lorne and the gang actually were doing a little research at the NFL Draft. So they will be back soon with all their stories from the event and of course, their takes on all the picks that took place.
Lorne's on vacation this week so we went waaayyyy back in the TCG Patreon vault and pulled out this little gem. Enjoy this TCG blast from the past!
Original air date: July 1, 2018 on Patreon
Jodi Arias was this crazy bitch that killed her boyfriend and then she lied about it and stuff, and it was pretty gruesome and stuff...so...enjoy?

This past week on TCG proper, we gave our Patreon members another monthly exclusive episode, where we did a deep dive into the truly effed up, Pam Hup. The centerpiece to the mini series, “the thing about Pam”, where police got thrown a curve ball and the husband actually didn’t do it🤷🏻♂️
And for this coming week, Lorne's on vacation. So we'll release something from the TCG patreon vault! Its gonna be a surprise.😜
Now for SandU this week, we released our monthly episode of Strange Shorts with myself and Andy. Fun fact for ya, this week of Strange shorts (78) is the first episode available in video format as well! Now you can watch all the shenanigans on our youtube channel. Links below.
And strange shorts on the free platform can mean only one thing… Sandu Stories week. Where our Patreon members were invited into an early Catholic Church, on the outskirts of civilization, where a supernatural presence begins to torment a painter, sent to improve the ancient chapel. This is months episode even includes a cameo from a special guest star, Leroy Luna (from "Excuse Me, That's Illegal")
Andy sat in for Lorne this week on JTB. Where he and I got together to answer listener questions ranging from laws we’d like to improve, our life’s soundtrack, and some of our back yard must haves. It was also a great way for listeners to get to know Andy a little better
And guys, since Lorne is still out on vacation, there will be no new 5 min murder show this week, but he will be back for all the Lorne loyals next week with all your gory details on another short overview of a gruesome attack.
But the guys were still able to sit down and get a solid break down of the NFC North this week on the full house fantasy football show. Where our west coast gang keeps everyone up to date with everything going on this off-season.
