Join Katie and Liz on the first installment of their annual True Crime New England Halloween Extravaganza VIP Spooky Scary Special ™! To kick things off, the girls talk about the children of the Attleboro Cult, founded as “The Church of Mansfield” in 1977 by Roland Robidoux in Massachusetts. Controversy and scandal surrounded the sect in 1999 when it was discovered by a former member that a toddler had been starved to death on the command of his estranged wife’s “vision from God.” Investigation into the cult also revealed another missing infant while searching for the murdered child. Tune in to hear the origins of this cult and the lead up to what turned out to be a brutal and maniacal ending to something that started out so harmlessly.
It's time for another True Crime New England case profile. The girls tell two frustrating tales this week, one solved and the other unsolved. First, Liz tells the story of the disappearance of recent El Salvador immigrant, Reina Rojas, who went missing out of Boston, Massachusetts in November of 2022. Then, Katie talks about the frustrating fatal shooting of Steven Latimer out of Providence, Rhode Island in 2011. Steven was shot while in a car with several other people, and the perpetrator was eventually caught. Boston police have asked anyone with any information on Reina’s disappearance please call detectives at 617-343-4324. Join Katie and Liz on this week’s episode of True Crime New England where they discuss the confusing disappearance of college student Lynne Schulze out of Middlebury, Vermont. Lynne, who was adventurous and outgoing, went missing on December 10th, 1971, when she was supposed to be taking a final exam before Christmas break. She was seen eating dried prunes outside of the health food store “All the Good Things”, which was owned by infamous accused murderer Robert Durst, before last being spotted walking down US 7 by a classmate. To this day, Lynne has not been seen again, and there have been no arrests made in her case. Join Katie and Liz on this week’s episode of True Crime New England as they talk about the life and death of renowned ear, nose, and throat doctor Hani Zaki. Residing and practicing in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Zaki was well-loved by his patients, and was described as gregarious and friendly. On April 10th, 2001, Dr. Zaki was found dead in his home, shot in the head one time. Immediately, police were suspicious of his wife, Deborah Zaki, and were also questioning his relationship with the mob, as well as disgruntled patients possibly having a motive. Tune in to hear the details of all the suspects and theories regarding this doctor’s untimely and unsolved murder.

This week, Katie begins the episode by sharing the story of the Fairfield County Jane Doe, a black woman whose charred remains were discovered in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1993. Then, Liz talks about the solved murder of Yusef A'Vant, a man killed in the East Providence, Rhode Island barbershop that he owned in 2013. On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz travel to Standish, Maine to unravel the details of the story of a husband who was savagely beaten within an inch of his life. Jeffrey and Linda Dolloff had been married for thirteen years when in April of 2009, an alleged intruder entered their home and bludgeoned Jeffrey brutally with a baseball bat, and shot Linda in the right hip. It didn’t take long for investigators, working with Jeffrey, to realize that the perpetrator wasn’t an intruder at all, but came from right inside the home.
On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz discuss the details of the twisted story of the murder of Carol DiMaiti. On October 23rd, 1989, Carol (nee DiMaiti) and Charles Stuart had just left a childbirthing class in Boston, Massachusetts when they were supposedly robbed at gunpoint by a black man with a raspy voice. Carol was shot in the head and Charles was shot in the stomach. Unfortunately, Carol died from her injuries several hours later, and her baby named Christopher died 17 days later. Charles survived, living to tell the tale of being held-up by a black man, and the police response increased racial tensions across the city of Boston. It wasn’t until his brother stepped forward two months later and told police what really happened that night, that the finger is pointed at Charles himself.
It's another installment of the mini-episode case profile series from True Crime New England. Today, Liz starts off the episode talking about the senseless murder of Darrell Jenkins Jr., who was shot and killed outside of his mother's house in Springfield, Massachusetts. Then, Katie tells the bizarre story of the disappearance of Frederick Richardson Sr., whose car was found abandoned with all of his belongings in between exits 9 and 10 of I-95 North in Connecticut. On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz discuss the harrowing story of sexual assault survivor and the founder of Jane Doe No More, Donna Palomba. On September 11th, 1993, Donna was attacked in her home while her husband was away on a trip. She was beaten, threatened, and raped. Donna then faced immense backlash with the Waterbury, Connecticut Police Department as they began accusing her of making up the terrible events to cover up an affair. It wouldn’t be until 2005 that her perpetrator would be arrested and placed in prison, but in that time, Donna Palomba overcame many obstacles, both physically and emotionally, as a result of her attack.
