This is the first part of our Truth Talk series regarding racism and how we can become a part of the solution. Today Jessica interviewed Erin Youngblood with The Clean Campaign.

This is not a skin issue, it is a sin issue. YES! However, let’s be sure that we are addressing the issues of our own hearts as we move in action and love toward our brother and sisters in Christ. We are image-bearers of Christ.

If you love Jesus, then we get to go out and preach a gospel that transforms and changes. The love of the Father is what will change us at the deepest level of our hearts which in return changes our actions.

May we be lovers of Christ who don’t shame into change. But turn inward to repentance.
