Today on the podcast I have 'Thomas Wilson White,' who was one of the writers on the latest incarnation of 'Heartbreak High' which has been a huge hit for 'Netflix.' 

Thomas is a family friend of mine and has always been an incredibly smart intelligent storyteller. The fact he has been able to demonstrate his talents and be a part of a huge hit like 'Heartbreak High is step in the write direction for your writers in this country.

'Heartbreak High' was a huge part of my early introduction into TV as an adult. Now obvious to me that it was the start of my passion for talking Television. The series broke ground in the 90’s and what a joy to see it back breaking new ground for a new generation. 

The characters in the show are complicated, funny and reflective of real teenagers in Australian Schools. If you haven’t checked the series out - I am jealous because I would love to watch it for the first time all over again.

We will talk what the process is in the writers room was like, where Tom’s inspiration comes from, why telling stories of queer people is so important and we will get an update on series 2.

Today on the podcast I have 'Dylan and Jenny' from 'The Block: Tree Change.' Who are quickly becoming two of the most celebrated contestants ever to be seen on the series. 

'Dylan and Jenny' are exactly like who you see on the screen. You want to have a laugh with them, you want to have a beer with them and you would 100% let them build your dream house. 

'Jenny' is a female ‘tradie’ and 'Dylan' is a laid back Aussie bloke and they both are in the trade giving them a massive leg up in the competition. 

'The Block: Tree Change' is the biggest 'Block' ever made and what has won over the fans is their attitudes within their stressful environment. Fans would be interested to know they worried at times they were too quiet! However, it seems just being themselves is what people love. 

I will ask 'Dylan and Jenny' questions from the fans, what the drama was really like, when are they getting married, who they think will win the most amount of money and what the most outrageous story they have read about themselves online.

Today on the podcast I have TV presenter, actor, entrepreneur and jack-of-all-trades. It is the host of 'The Real Love Boat's' 'Darren McMullen.' 

The original TV series 'The Love Boat' was a huge hit around the world, with fictitious characters falling in love but now it is a reality show like we have never seen before.

The contestants are raw, a little unpolished and ready to find love on a cruise ship sailing around the Mediterranean.

I think this show might be a slow burn to begin with but as the ship sets sail - I guarantee the viewers will be shocked / entertained as the show ventures in territories we have not seen on a dating show.

Today on the podcast I have another farmer for the 'Farmer Wants A Wife' 2022. It is 'Farmer Harry' who looks set to find a match in the series finale on Monday night at 7:30!

This year as we know five new farmers joined the series to find real love in an another exciting new season of Australia’s favourite bush-fairy-tale. Which has been a really decent season on 'Channel 7' and '7plus.' 

'Farmer Harry' has been a joy to watch this year with his genuine nature and family values. I will say some questionable dance moves but to make up for that some smooth talking. Harry is a fan favourite and I really hope he finds the right girl to join him permanently on the farm. 

We will talk his connection with the girls, why they didn’t use his real farm, if he he needed his Mum’s approval, what the relationship was like with the producers and why a smart leaches left the cast crew screaming!

'Spankie Jackzon' was my favourite towards the end and I absolutely adore the type of person she was on every episode. Funny, talented, warm and massively unpolished. There is something unique and brilliant with every strut she takes.

I love that most of the fans didn’t see her as the favourite and I also love how supportive 'Hannah' and 'Queen' have been to 'Spankie's' win.

We will talk about her nerves going into the competition, if being a winner helps you get shagged, what she thinks the franchise needs to change and a few life lessons that I think people will get a lot out of….

Today on the podcast I am back talking about 'The Block!' As I have two more of the contestants from 'Channel Nine’s' latest series, it is the much talked about contestants 'Sharon and Ankur.'

This year 'The Block' took a tree change and we have seen more drama than any other series before. With 5 houses situated on 10 acres of land and weather conditions harsher than any season before - it is actually surprising all the contestants haven’t quit the competition. 

So is there any wonder why today we are talking to Sharon and Ankur about their tumultuous time on the series? Probs not!

However, I quite like them both as I feel like they are very real. We all sit at home and say - 'oh they are ungrateful' but we haven’t been in their shoes and no doubt we would all throw a tantrum or two. 

From builders spats, to picking that big house, there is plenty to pick apart and we will do just that. So stick around get the stories - from the houses mouths.

Today on the podcast I will continue on from yesterday as I unpack the latest reality TV series from 'Endemol Shine Australia' which is currently on 'Paramount +'. It is…. 'The Bridge!' 

Joining me is the winner of the series 'Bardie' - who managed to make the controversial decision to keep most of the money. 

I loved 'Bardie' on the show and it is no wonder why she won as most of the cast loved her too. 'Bardie' was the team leader with a heart and we will learn that she is a fantastic human too.

'The Bridge' saw a cast of unknowns forced into a situation where not only building a bridge was physically exhausting but mentally they faced a conundrum that would only see one person in charge of how the final prize money would be spent. 

'Bardie' talks about her brutal response from fans, why she took the money and how she feels about that decision now, where the money is now and why she would never do reality TV again. Todays chat is really interesting and I am sure you will be thinking about it for days!
