Executive Producers Chloe Baker and Leigh Aramberri join TV Reload to chat about The Voice Australia on Channel Seven which this year has been blitzing the ratings.

Both Leigh and Chloe work for ITV Studios and have been rightfully lamenting the success of this season. We will talk about the reasons why the show has resonated so well with Audiences. We will find out some exciting secrets from the set, Plus some inside 'goss' on the coaches and we will also find out how these guys got started in the TV industry.

Both took time away from their current work, Chloe from Love Island and Leigh who is already working on two new seasons of The Voice for 2022. One which includes a spin-off series called 'The Voice: Generations.' I am super grateful for their time.

Featuring actress Doris Younane, who’s career spans over 35 years with an extensive body of work in film, theatre and television. 

I have seen Dorris in all of those formats and have loved her work from an early age. You would remember some of her career highlights: such as the film The heartbreak Kid which subsequently went on to have its own TV series which she also stared in.

We will be talking about Doris' role as Heather in the TV series FIVE BEDROOMS which is only available on Paramount + the latest steaming service in Australia. Heather is complicated, warm and in Doris own words we have not seen a character like her.

This week on the podcast I have Michael Lucas featured to chat about 'The Newsreader' on ABC which debuts this Sunday night at 8:30 PM. (15th August)

Michael Lucas is a writer, producer and script editor. He’s worked successfully across several genres, from the relationship dramedy of Offspring, to the Prison thriller of 'Wentworth,' the political drama of 'Party Tricks,' and the comedy of 'Rosehaven.' 

He was also involved with a couple of iconic TV deaths, like Patricks death on 'Offspring' and Bea's death on 'Wentworth.' While that may seem bleak he has also cultivated and created some of the best TV characters of this generation.

He is one of my favourite television creators and I can notice his work in everything he does.

Today as we focus on 'The Newsreader,' we will discuss sexism in the newsroom, the gains LGBTI people have made on Australian TV’s and of course how the show was researched and put together.

Today on TV Reload I have Simon Mee from Australian Survivor. He played a strong game right from the start and has been featured heavily thought-out the current series of Brains vs Brawn on Channel 10.

Sunken with two immunity idols, he is the shock elimination no one saw coming. Which is what all Survivor fans know as a ‘blindside.’

I for one am going to miss those budgie smugglers and his game play. however, the show must go on to outwit, out last out play till we have a winner.

This week on the Podcast, I have the delightful Shelley Craft to chat about The Block ‘Fans vs Favourites.' I have already been watching the series which debuts on Sunday the 8th of August and I can confirm this season is the most explosive yet with some confrontation and drama that could rival MAFS.

Shelley Craft is back for her 14th year as the series. Shelly has an infectious laugh and a turn of phase that audiences have been enjoying for many years. I have loved watching Shelley’s career grow from strength to strength - as I have followed her career since 'Saturday Disney' and 'Funniest Home Videos.' Shelley has been a staple on our screen for as long as I can remember and I am delighted to chat with her Pre Block madness.

This is the biggest shakeup in 'Block' history, for the first time there will be no house plans for contestants to work off – this is going to be an insane series. This year, Blockheads must not only renovate the mammoth project, they’ll also have to design the layout and I think this may be why the tension is at an all time high.

This week on TV Reload I have Amazon Prime Video’s Gavin Rubinstein who you can catch on the new series Luxe Listings Sydney… This new series was made by Eureka Production for Amazon and Gavin is fast becoming one of Australia’s favourite reality TV stars. 

The show is set amongst the Iconic beaches of Sydney with breathtaking properties and tackles one of the most cutthroat real estate markets in the world. For the first time ever in Australia we see these multi-million dollar homes being bought and sold by trio of unlikely reality TV stars who are Australia’s agents. They will stop at nothing to deliver results for their demanding clientele, while balancing their hectic personal lives and careers. It is a brilliant show and I am sure you will get something out of this chat with Gavin as he was really generous with his thoughts on the show. 

Luxe Listings Sydney reinvents reality TV in my mind, and we will discuss why that is, plus we will chat about how Gavin got involved, the first failed attempt to get him on television to the remarkable success of this new series. This week I have Network Ten’s The Bachelor, Jimmy Nicholson on the show. He is a breathe of fresh air and I am sure you will love him. Channel Ten launched the new series last Wednesday and it certainly feels like classic 'Bachie' series but with a real sense of romance and genuine connections.
