Two Cities Church

1 Corinthians 7

We will either be influenced by culture or transformed by Christ. We can tend toward two extremes, thinking sex is unimportant or thinking sex is everything. Christ calls us to somewhere in between.

1 Corinthians 9:1-27

Through Paul's example, we see that we're called to lay down our rights to move the gospel forward. He paints a picture of what it looks like to be theologically fixed and culturally flexible for the sake of those who would believe.

1 Corinthians 5-6:1-11

The cross does not make sin safe. It makes it forgivable.

In 1 Corinthians, Paul instructs the church on how to deal with sin within the church by taking sin seriously and loving deeply.

1 Corinthians 6:12-20

Not everything that is permissible is beneficial. In the right context, sex is a gift of God to be enjoyed for His glory, but in the wrong environment, it can have significant damaging effects.

1 Corinthians 4:1-21

As leaders, Christ calls us to be servants and stewards of what He has given to us.

1 Corinthians 3:1-23

Paul's message to the Corinthians is simple. You have to grow up... and it takes time to grow up. While culture encourages delayed adolescence and rights over responsibility, Christians are called to grow up into spiritual maturity by building on the foundation of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:18-2:16

True wisdom comes from emphasizing the cross and depending on the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:1-17

Sin separates but Jesus unifies.

2 Timothy 4:9-22

To endure to the end, we need faithful friends and a faithful God.

2 Timothy 4:1-8

In this week's sermon on 2 Timothy 4:1-8 we see the importance of preaching in the local church. Pastor Kyle reminds us that the role of the church is to preach so that those within the church are filled and then can be sent out into the world.
