Two Cops One Donut

In this episode, I speak with two prior police officers who quit it all to follow a passion and a dream. Meet Justin Delacruz and Mike Carter from Patrol Stories. We talk about their experience as police, the motivation behind their passion, and the negative feedback fellow officers gave them on their path. This is a good bunch of fellas with a great mission for bridging the  gap. Check this out and be sure to visit their website at https://www.patrolstories.com/

In this episode, I speak with Cartel expert and Author, Pinal County Arizona's Chief Deputy Matthew Thomas. You want to talk about a go-getter and a great human being...He is the real deal. Thomas has become a Mexican Cartel expert, he discusses their existence in the U.S., how police are fighting them with the help of National Guard/HSI/ATF/DEA.  Thomas gives us some of his background growing up and how he is a natural for this specific line of work. We also discuss his book Interceptors: The Untold Fight Against the Mexican Cartels. This was a fascinating chat, I hope you enjoy.

In this 100th episode!!!, I talk with Decorated Military Vet Ryan Barnett and fomer Oklahoma State Football Taylor May. Ryan is the CEO of Vetted Holdings. They help Law Enforcement protect persons and property, enforce laws and ordinances and investigate crimes. They believe that criminal offenders are to be held responsible for their actions, so communities can live safely. They empower officers to work smarter and safer in service of this belief. Basically, they help us catch the bad guys. However, there is a slippery slope cops and these companies must be aware of and discuss with the public's input. We discuss artificial intelligence, license plate readers, Big Brother, and much more.

A quick thank you to all keeping this thing going.  We can't believe we've made it to 100 episodes. Sincerly, thank you.

In this episode, I talk with domestic violence survivors Toxicology Dr. Nancy "Badass" Bordelon and Yvonne Harrison. Both are survivors and both found issues with our criminal justice system for their particular situations. It is a unique perspective as they didn't fit any typical "victim" trait. They weren't lower-socioecomic class, they weren't uneducated, and they did have family they could lean on. Listen in as they share how they were helped, how they were failed, and how they are fighting back to make sure no other victims have to go through their same hell. This is a tear jerker episode, get your tissues read...I needed my own. I hope you enjoy

In this episode, I talk with Judge Melanie Houston over some delicious craft beers. (who knew judges were beer nerds too!) We discuss A TON here folks. To include why bad guys get low bonds, how to become a judge, what schooling they go through, how they are evaluated and much more.  This is one of my favorite episodes yet. I hope you enjoy.

This is to include his deployments and the similarities of trying to win hearts and minds of the enemy. He also talks about what life is like as a State Rep. This was a very educational conversation and I am proud to call Mike a friend. I hope you enjoy.

The National Real Time Crime Center Association podcast interviews Elk Grove PD's Real Time Information Center's manager, Jamie Hudson. In this episode of the podcast, I speak with Founder/CEO of Cops Direct and Troops Direct, Aaron Negherbon. Aaron discusses how he discovered our troops and police lack proper funding and equipment. Rather than complain about it, he did something. He did something rather big. He created CopsDirect.org and TroopsDirect.org. Two non-profits that do big things for our heroes. Listen and he discusses it and find out how you can get involved if you so choose. Aaron is a great human being and a positive role model in my book. Check this out and I hope you enjoy.
