It’s a sad and somber day for Ukraine. Our world weeps over the presence of violence and the strain of injustice. It’s a day to pause and reflect about what it means to follow Jesus, the Prince of Peace, in a violent world.
Evil thrives in confusion. Crisis reveals what we can no longer ignore. Yet, the call of the Christian is to understand the present moment without giving into, what C.S. Lewis called the three great enemies of war – Excitement, Frustration, or Fear.
We must stay faithful to Jesus. Constantly bringing our minds back to God. Praying as Christ taught us to – “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Mt. 6:10).
Will you join us in praying for our world?
