The awful situation in Ukraine is one we are all deeply saddened by and concerned about. But is there anything we can do to help?

From donating money to driving aid to strategic locations, there are numerous calls for help from charities across the UK and beyond.

This is exactly what motorhome owner Jon Truscott did. Matt talked with Jon the day after he arrived back in the UK. He drove his motorhome full of aid and supplies, given to him by the charity 'Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine', to a village in Poland.

Hear how Jon organised and funded his trip, his plans when he got there and why he was unable to bring a Ukrainian family back to the UK, as he'd hoped.

A moving and sobering chat as Jon opens up and recalls the shell-shocked faces of the Ukrainian women and children he met.
