Israel bombed central Beirut in the early hours of Thursday, killing at least 6 people in what it called a "precise air strike." The Israeli Defence Force suffered its deadliest day with 8 Israeli soldiers killed in its ground invasion of Lebanon, the first deaths it's reported since the attack started 2 days ago. Meanwhile the UN says 1600 people have been killed, including 104 children and 194 women and a million people displace in the Lebanon conflict.
