Dr. Michell finishes John 7 looking to Jesus the one providing the water of life, that is the Holy Spirit.

 Dr. Mitchell continues his overview of the book of John. Here we take a look at Jesus our Savior, the Word Who Was in the Beginning and who was with God and who is God.  John's purpose in writing his gospel is 'that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God and that believing, you may have life in His name.

We are in1st John 2:19-28 speaking of the Annointing from the Holy One who abides in the believer in the Son of God.

1st Century - Gnostic heresy denied the Incarnate Son of God.

In this lesson, Dr. Mitchell focuses on the fact that believers in Christ Know the truth and no lie is of the truth, especially the truth of who Jesus Christ is, God in the flesh. He warns the babies in Christ to Be occupied with the person of Christ and not to be seduced away from the savior.

So, with your Bibles opened, let’s turn with Dr. Mitchell, to1John 2:16.

1Jn2:12-28 is The Place of the Fellowship - The Family of God on theUnchanging Word Bible Broadcast.

All ecclesiastical distinctions breakdown within the family of God evidenced by love for one another, although we may not agree on doctrine, or what is taught.

The appeal is for reality in life, a question of growth - spiritual maturity. Babes, Fathers, Young men, it is not a question of age but of spiritual maturity in their faith.

Babies are forgiven for His name's sake

Fathers have known him who is from the beginning - mature in the faith.

Young men are strong and have overcome the evil one.

Let's join Dr. Mitchell in1Jn2:12-28.

Today Dr. Mitchell gives us an overview of Walking with God Who is Light here in 1st John chapters One and Two.

Also, Of the three evidences that are presented, what is the third evidence for knowing that we have fellowship with God who is light?

Today in first John chapter 2, we are taking a look at verses 5 through 8 with Dr. Mitchell exploring the test of our profession of fellowship with God who is light.

Divine fellowship, he explains, has a corresponding action here on earth.

So with Dr. Michell let us explore what is this evidence of our fellowship with God who is light.

Here is Dr Mitchell in 1st John 2:5-8.

We do have three implacable enemies that want to keep us from having fellowship with the living God who is light.

But we do have a provision through our Lord Jesus Christ who is both or advocate and the propitiation for our sins.

What a wonderful provision that the Lord has made for us.

Dr Mitchell continues to explain to us more of the evidence that we know that we do know Him.
