  1. Number 1: When chiropractic comes under threat with Dr Nimrod Mueller

What do you do when chiropractic itself comes under threat? In this episode, Martin is joined again by Dr Nimrod Mueller. The conversation starts with a fascinating shift happening among Gen Z chiropractors, team members and practice members: less interest in optimisation, career climbing and rigid commitment, and more value placed on autonomy, connection and quality of life. Then the conversation gets bigger. Nimrod explains the regulatory challenge currently facing chiropractors in Spain and what it could mean for their ability to practise. But this isn’t just an episode about Spain. It’s a conversation about how a small profession responds when it feels threatened. Do we fight louder? Do we retreat? Or do we get better at communication, research, political influence, and understanding the people we’re trying to persuade? Martin and Nimrod explore why evidence matters, why evidence alone often isn’t enough, and why the future of chiropractic may depend on our ability to fight smarter, not louder. 2. Number 2: Neuro wellness, adaptability and what comes next with Dr Nimrod Mueller

Wellness has spent years telling us to track more. Sleep. HRV. Steps. Blood sugar. Recovery scores. But what happens when measuring your health starts making you less healthy? In this episode, Martin sits down with Dr Nimrod Mueller to explore two trends from the Global Wellness Summit’s Future of Wellness 2026 report that could have big implications for chiropractic. They discuss the growing backlash against over-optimisation, the rise of “neuro wellness”, and why adaptability may be a better way to think about health than trying to keep every physiological metric inside a perfect range. They also explore what these shifts mean in practice:Why people are becoming tired of turning health into a dashboardThe growing interest in nervous system regulationWhy adaptability, resilience and lived experience matterHow chiropractors can communicate these ideas without dismissing other approachesHow the environment and experience of a practice can support people who already feel overloaded and stressed Perhaps the biggest opportunity is this: People are becoming more interested in many of the ideas that chiropractic has discussed for a long time. The challenge is learning how to join that conversation well. 3. Number 3: What if your clients could see their adjustment? with Dr Vismai Schonfelder

What if your clients could actually see what was happening to their nervous system around an adjustment? That question sits behind Chiro Ring, the wearable Dr Vismai Schonfelder has spent the past few years developing. In this episode, Vismai joins Martin to talk about why he believes wearable technology could change the way chiropractors communicate the value of what they do. They explore how Chiro Ring can track health metrics around an adjustment, why personal data can sometimes communicate more powerfully than another explanation, and the enormous research opportunity created when thousands of adjustments can be logged over time. But there’s a bigger idea underneath it all. Nervous-system regulation is having a moment. People are tracking sleep, HRV, stress and recovery. They’re doing breathwork, meditation and cold plunges. Yet chiropractic is often missing from the conversation. Vismai wants to change that. They also debrief the recent Bali Reset, including what Vismai changed in his practice and life after creating enough space actually to think. A conversation about data, communication, adaptability and what chiropractic might look like if we make it easier for people to understand what we’ve been talking about all along. 4. Number 4: When more benefits make you less persuasive

We tend to think persuasion works like maths. One good reason is persuasive. So five good reasons must be five times better. Except that’s not how people think. In this episode, Martin explores the argument dilution effect: why adding weaker benefits to a strong reason can actually make your overall message less compelling. Using the example of a patient with headaches, Martin looks at why “being able to concentrate at work again” may carry far more weight than adding abstract benefits such as better posture, spinal function or “optimising health.” You’ll learn:Why people can average arguments rather than add them togetherThe difference between strong, moderate and weak reasons for careHow the curse of knowledge makes chiropractors particularly vulnerable to argument dilutionWhy communicating value starts with empathyHow the most important benefit can change as someone progresses through care Sometimes better communication isn’t about finding another thing to say. It’s knowing what to leave out. 5. Number 5: Lessons from a locum: what the best practices do differently with Dr Mike Szabo

Most chiropractors only ever see one practice. Mike Szabo has seen dozens. As a full-time locum, he steps into practices all over the place -different teams, different systems, different energy. Which means he sees something most of us don’t: Patterns. In this episode, we break down what separates practices that feel flat… from the ones that feel alive the moment you walk in. We get into:Why language matters more than you thinkThe hidden impact of a great CA (and how often it’s missed)What actually happens to a practice when the owner steps awayAnd why trying to look like other professions might be holding you backWe also unpack Mike’s own shift — from chasing symptoms to focusing on the nervous system and long-term function. If you’ve ever wondered:“Why do some practices just work?” This episode gives you a clear answer.
