Portal losses, staff turnover, an ongoing NCAA investigation, and a yet-to-be-unveiled NIL collective, among other issues, have hamstrung Arizona State football. Doug Haller, who covers the Sun Devils for The Athletic, joins Andy in discussing ASU's hellacious position. Will Sparky's home be able to exorcise its demons...or is that a bad thing? Puns aside, the guys also converse about Herm Edward's future, who the Sun Devils' next QB will be, and more.

Andy and THE Portal Authority, Max Olson, converse about Pitt WR Jordan Addison, and the interest he's drawing as a potential transfer. The pair also consider college football's current tampering rules, and how mild the infraction's penalties are. In this era of NIL, do consequences for tampering need to be greater? Also, USC should look into reinforcing its hogs upfront through the portal; Max's portal deadline explanation, and the NFL Draft by the numbers.

The Athletic's David Ubben joins Andy to discuss a Georgia defender and wide receiver heavy first round of the NFL draft. Why was only one quarterback taken? How different will the class at that position be next year? Meanwhile, a situation involving Miami basketball gets the guys talking about how something like this will inevitably happen in football. The Hurricanes just took a transfer from Kansas State and a donor signed the player to a $400,000-a-year NIL deal. Now Miami's current best player wants to renegotiate and he's threatening to hit the transfer portal before Sunday's deadline if that doesn't happen. How soon until this very situation comes to football, and are NIL collectives prioritizing shiny new things over old reliable things in a way that will come back to bite them?

Is the Kenny Pickett hand-size dilemma a real thing, and which under-the-radar QB has the best chance to explode onto the scene?
