Research supports that the best way to disarm microaggressions is by mirroring the aggressors, comments. This helps put space in the conversation, and it helps to reflect to the aggressor how they are communicating. Reflecting is not your words; it is your words.
When we approach microaggression using mindfulness techniques, we can look at the aggressor objectively and maintain our healthy lifestyles.
