Amanda starts by explaining how she first was exposed to the Science of Reading, starting from the beginning of her teaching career to now. She then goes on to explain what exactly the Science of Reading involves – ranging from how you’re mapping information in your brain, to building fluency through different components of reading. Amanda wraps up by talking about her favorite reading strategies that are based in the Science of Reading, and shares some ways to incorporate the Science of Reading into your own classroom!
