The Arizona State Sun Devils football program will be facing a massive overhaul at its wide receiver spot following the transfers of Ricky Pearsall, LV Bunkley-Shelton, and Johnny Wilson. The position is also devoid of proven, established starters, although the upside of some guys like Andre Johnson and Bryan Thompson is certainly appealing. However, there may be some hope for a true number one receiver in the former of former Vanderbilt Commodores wide receiver and incoming transfer Camron Johnson. Johnson sat down with Locked On Sun Devils host Richie Bradshaw and talked about his time before Arizona State University including his high school days plus his time spent with the Vanderbilt Commodores football program. Johnson also details why he chose the Arizona State Sun Devils football program over some other suitors and has nothing but glowing things to say about his new teammates, including his potential quarterbacks and former SEC players Emory Jones and Paul Tyson. Regardless of who may be throwing Cam Johnson the rock this season, the senior wideout expressed nothing but confidence and determination in his sit-down interview with us. Check out our interview with the newest Arizona State Sun Devils football star and potentially the team's top wide receiver for the 2022 season!
