Views From The 7

Ayesha Curry is in the headlines again. Could her brand be the reason why men aren't checking for her? You know we couldn't leave this one untouched. We got a few questions to ask this week....With prom and the end of school activities going on we had to take time to discuss over spending on our children. Why are people willing to go broke over their kids? Is #Cassidy underrated? Does success breed entitlement without you even knowing it? Was #JustinBieber wildin with his #Bieber comparison? We got that and much more....This is Views From The 7!!

Try to skip past that and tune into us get into our bag on Battle Rap. Is it cool for a battle rapper to return to battle rap after going mainstream? You know we couldn't ignore Cassidy's L. We know we've been here before but the issue hasn't been settled. Had to pop the episode off with Jagged Edge vs 112 Battle of The B-Sides. You know we won't ever agree but we'll let the music speak for itself. With all of the craziness going on the conversation of "What we don't want done when we pass away". DON'T POST MY TEXT MESSAGES... We got the Old School Smoove Groove battle of "We Can't Be Friends" with Debra Cox vs Trey Songz, the Anderson.Paak album review and much more. This week on #VFT7.... We had to discuss the whole #KodakBlack situation. Was he being disrespectful? Or was he doing the same thing as the guys that hop in DMs to be a "shoulder to cry on"? With #LilNasX Old Town Road causing an uproar in the Country headlines we had to discuss it.... is he creating a new wave with his Trap/Country genre? We've got that and much more. Come and Talk to Me

We got a bonus episode lined up for y'all this week with our guy @mileslowmusic. We're talking battle rap and it was only right for us to get into the #LasVegas Hip-Hop scene. Is it easier to criticize without emotional attachment? Of course we had to ask about his journey getting into radio and the celebs he's met....who were the assholes? We've got all of that and more! This is Views From The 7!!

Peace to the God Nipsey Hu$$le when you transitioned you stopped the world. We really took a hard hit this past weekend. There's no way we could start this episode without paying tribute and acknowledging exactly what he meant to our community and culture. The impact he made not only as an artist but as a man in general will last a lifetime. We had to talk about a little bit of what went on this past week. What was #OmariHardwick thinking kissing on #Beyonce? With the huge blow we took in the hip hop community we thought it would only be right to go over the different Eras. Is this the Greatest Era in #HipHop? We've got that and much more. This is Views From The 7!!

On this week's episode of #VFT7 we had to give y'all our review of "Us". If you haven't seen it yet be sure to skip through (7:45-51:50) and make your way to the Old School Smoove Groove. What does protecting black women look like? Would you consider TI a fake activist? Things get a little heated with this one. Moving along...with Cam Newton making headlines with his decision to be abstinent it left us with the question of would you go without sex for a month?? Not everyone is cut out for that. We opened the floor for our listeners and the jury came back in.... Y'all wanted #SurvivingCardiB and that's what y'all got. Why are the people not outraged? We've got that and much more. First and foremost we want to thank everyone for all of the support and crazy feedback from our bonus episode. After a pretty emotion filled week we're back on our bullshit! We're having a bit of a debate between the 3 of us and the question is.... "Is #Stevie better than #Luther??" Of course we can't agree. Moving along to some more ignorance is #KodakBlack sexually harassing Young M.A.?? It gets a little crazy....we got all that and more! This is Views From The 7!!
