Episode 50?! Damn tell us where the time has gone?! Taking a moment to reflect on our learning experiences and growth within the last year. As much as we all wanted to avoid it we had to address the elephant in the room. SURVIVING this damn doc-series! This week was full of triggers that brought a lot of different emotions to the surface. So many different takes and opinions regarding the #RKelly scandal. Victim shaming was at an all time high. Several different people chimed in to give their opinions like #ChanceTheRapper #JohnLegend and #CharlamagneThaGod. We had to dig deep into the aftermath. The shock of hearing those that continue to sympathize with a predator and those who took the docu-series to expose the division between black men and black women. Back at it like we never left... oh wait, we didn't! This week was a good one for music. We start the episode with our usual recap of our week. The holidays are so different these days.
