In this episode, I'm sharing my thoughts about why we are all so freaking tired right now! Truth is, I think we're all just tired of COVID-19 and would love for things to get back to normal. It's been more than 50 days since we were abruptly forced to change how we live. We're also realizing that our normal will never be what it was before. I share my thoughts on what's making us so tired and some of my favorite strategies to help us overcome the feeling of being depleted. Stick around to the end where I'm sharing how we can create a different future in the next 100 days.

Shari Molchan and I connected for a live interview a few months ago, about how our money mindset is influenced by our environment, and how we can shift it. The messages she shares are even more relevant in today's environment.
Shari shares how she made the difficult transition from employee to entrepreneur when her role was no longer aligned with her values. She stepped into her authentic leadership (and gave up a 6-figure income) to launch her business. If you're struggle right now to figure out what's next once this pandemic is 'over', Shari's wisdom and guidance is invaluable.
Shari Molchan is a business and money coach who helps her clients sort out their money issues to create more revenue and success in their business. Welcome back to the series Gillian Goerzen! Gillian was one of my first guests on Episode 9 where we talked about the Body Positive Movement. In our latest conversation, Gillian and I discuss the prevelence of COVID-19 memes that are promoting unhealthy body image goals and leading many to feel shame about their bodies. Our mental health is paramount right now and dealing with body image issues makes things much worse. Gillian shares some excellent strategies on how to bypass the memes and focus on compassion and self-love.

We've turned the tables for this one! Karen Shumka interviews me on my gratitude practices and she asks some tough questions about a recent family challenge I have navigated.
I share how I decided to dive in when some deep sh*t came up in my life, instead of sweeping things back under the carpet once again. I chose to decided that things were happening 'for me' as opposed to 'to me'. It's a critical shift in perspective.
There's a lot happening in this interview and I'd love for you to grab a seat to listen in with us.
I refer to Episode 21 of the Wake Up With Gratitude podcast, the one I did with my husband Daniel Lawrence.

I share my thoughts on gratitude during the pandemic in this episode. It was recorded on Sunday, April 12, 2020, one month into our 'lockdown' here in Canada. I'm also sharing one of my favorite ways to create the future using Be, Do, Have. I walk you through this exercise step by step, so grab a paper and pen. I also read my blog post, A Tsunami of Gratitude and share a short gratitude meditation at the end. This is my 40th episode of the podcast, and you'll learn how it all started back in Dec 2019 and what's changed in the past month.

Are you wondering about how to educate your kids during this COVID-19 pandemic? Jennifer Robinson and I have a candid conversation about how we have been homeschooling our kids, using the Unschooling method. Jennifer's son is a teenager who is almost 17 and they have been Unschooling since September 2019. My daughter is 9, and we have been Unschooling since Feb 2018.
We both share our stories (with permission from our kids) about how we came to the realization that we HAD to take our kids out of school. Different kids, years apart in age, and stories will strikingly similar details. We also share how we did Unschooling before the pandemic and how things have changed since then.
Our best advice? Take care of their mental health first. And then worry about the 'education'.
