Dale & Toby discuss the topic of religion with a particular focus on the Catholic Church, its origins, its internal sub-orders, its practices, its strange connections to Christianity and its even stranger links to the Nazis. This opens up the wider topic of religion and touches on the deeper, more esoteric, interpretations - that will form the basis of further discussion, in later episodes.
WakingWorld host, Dale, returns to Is It News? after four weeks away — reinvigorated, refreshed and, for the first time, with a couple of out-dated papers that are never once referenced.

Is it news? Sort of. Not really. But we're back.
Toby picks up from last week's episode discussing MK Ultra and mind-control, including Satanic Ritual Abuse and it's links to the military and the entertainment industry. We also discuss the first-hand testimonies covering these topics from the likes of Cathy O'Brien and Fiona Barnett.
In this episode, Toby delves deep into Nazi links to the Occult, where it originated and how it has maintained a constant presence in military operations in recent history. We then get into part 1 of the fascinating topic around MK Ultra, what it is, where it originated, and how it is used in psychological warfare.
Toby picks up from where he left off in Episode #2 and covers The Fraternity of Saturn, The Typhonian OTO, Scientology, The Church of Satan, and The Temple of Set...including links to Marina Abramović, the British Royal Family, and a whole host of celebrity names.
Toby shares his knowledge on the Ordo Templi Orientis, an occult secret society and magical order. He provides a background and history of the organisation and takes us on a trip back to his first account of a public ritual as the precursor to his initiation into the order.

This is a re-run of the very first episode of the WakingWorld podcast.
In September 2023, shortly after meeting for the first time, Dale and Toby sat down to discuss Toby's first experiences with the occult, to introduce us to Aleister Crowley, and to set the scene for the basis of Season 1.
The tragic events of 2025 may make this upload seem inappropriate to some. The purpose of resharing it, however, is to act as a warning to those that have considered inviting dark energies and entities into their lives.
It was a fabulously informative catalogue of work. Sadly, the project ended in the worst possible way.
WakingWorld host, Dale, sets out to review this week's edition of The Australian.
