Iowa got back on track Saturday with a huge win over new B1G opponent Washington, on the back of none other than KJ2 who continues to be amongst the top players in the country. We start the episode with a fun reminder of how nobody really knows how games are going to end up, and the joy of CFB. We break down all of the good that happened vs the Huskies including the bend don't break mentality, the best pressure we've gotten from out D-line, an incredible game from our specialists, the continued effort from the rushing attack, and plenty more. We highlight Jermari Harris and his play this year with a clip from his post game interview, and have a laugh at the fan who headbutted one of Steven's KOs from Saturday. Kirk Ferentz is Jedd Fish's Wife's favorite coach, and many of ours, and he opened this press conference with a full appreciation for Washington and what they have recently done. KF praised Coach Fish for what he was able to do at Arizona, and now 6 games into this season at Washington, and spent time picking a part what makes this Husky team concerning as an opponent. We spend a good amount of time on Kaleb Brown and LeShon Williams departures and how the landscape of CFB has caught up to the Hawks, and talk about why guys like Gill and RVZ ascended over someone like Brown. Hawks could not get it done on Saturday. Close at half time, and then the flood gates busted loose in the 3rd quarter sending the Buckeyes to an ol fashion routing of Iowa in the Shoe. We veer from our normal recap episode format where we outline and recap the major drives/plays from the game. We instead take a broader look at the disparity between these 2 teams and really Iowa and "Top 10 teams" over the last few seasons trying to decipher an answer as to why they haven't been able to compete. Our biggest show yet, we start with some banter around a morning workout, pain, and why the echo bike should be used more in the collegiate setting.
