In a game that saw the Commanders dominate every part of the stat sheet except for turnovers, Washington got the turnover they needed at the end as rookie S Quan Martin picks of New England QB Mac Jones with less than a minute left to give Washington the close win.

Washington’s offense was very efficient as they rack up more than 430 yards and go 9-17 on 3rd down to improve to 4-5.  The Patriots fall to 2-7 as they continue to decide if Mac Jones is the quarterback of the future.
