WB tried to bury this movie for a tax write-off. Fans and the director raised their voices and now Coyote vs. Acme has been unleashed! Was the rescue worth it?

This week the Boyz tackle the almost never-released Coyote vs. Acme in an early release spoiler-free episode. Filmed in 2022, pic tested through the roof but then David Zaslav's newly-merged Warner Bros. Discovery shelved it as a tax write-off in 2023, the same fate that had already erased Batgirl (terms? Never to be shown in any way shape or form after the write off). This time, fans revolted loud enough that WB shopped the finished film instead of destroying it, and Ketchup Entertainment picked it up for theatrical release.

Cupcake and WillDaBeast give you the verdict: was the fight and the fan rescue worth it? Wile E. Coyote hires personal injury lawyer Will Forte to sue the Acme Corporation for a lifetime of exploding products, and what follows is part courtroom satire, part love letter to Looney Tunes, stacked with cameos for longtime fans. With a cast including Lana Condor, John Cena, Martha Kelly, Louis Guzmán, and PJ Byrne, is this live-action/animation hybrid , in the spirit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, the perfect end of summer screwball comedy with biting legal satire and toothy commentary about corporate overlords? Or is it a nostalgia grab. Does it work for kids who've never seen a Looney Tunes short?

Check out the Boyz as they tell you WHY you need to get your butt in a seat this week to help this movie have legs and strike back at those who would tried to erase this movie from history.

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma SPOILER'D - Find out WHY Jane Schoenbrun's new movie is an instant cult classic and what tickled the hosts' fancies...brain-wise and pants-wise.

Cupcake and WillDaBeast spoil EVERYTHING in Jane Schoenbrun's Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma: the Queer Palm-winning slasher/meta-romance (yes...ROMANCE) starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. We unpack the skill with which Jane Schoenbrun weaves sexual identity, horror pop culture, and sharp commentary on Hollywood and LGBTQ+ issues: there are horror homages (Friday the 13th, Sleepaway Camp), a brilliant studio-satire pitch sequence, and an ending that ties orgasm, identity, and reclaiming your "freak" flag into one bloody gas-station walk-out.

THIS is amazing cinema and Jane Schoenbrun's most accessible film!

The Cannes Queer Palm winner that's part Sunset Boulevard, part Friday the 13th, and entirely unlike anything else in theaters right now — Jane Schoenbrun's most accessible film yet just might be their best.

Cupcake and WillDaBeast dig into Jane Schoenbrun's Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, the Queer Palm winner at Cannes 2026 starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. A slasher-reboot satire with the DNA of Sunset Boulevard and I Saw the TV Glow (the THIRD in Shoenbrun's Teenage Trilogy....although you need not seen the others to view this) Camp Miasma is Schoenbrun's most accessible film yet. Get deep and bloody with our singular Watch Skip Plus spoiler-free thoughts on why you need to see this in theaters and why this may be an instant cult classic.

Come back for the SPOILER'D discussion which drops Sunday-ish.
