This week we talk to Coach Carroll. Let's talk about sales. Sales is the life blood of a company, big business, or small business. It all moves forward because of making the sale. Why do you think the highest paid person in any company next to the CEO is in sales? They are the reason the company exists. Window cleaning is hard. Sure we have some kind of re occurring services, but not like, say, the maid business or a janitorial company. We have to keep filling the calendar in order to have money the other 6 months until the next job. Sometimes I wish I ran a lawn care company just for the frequency and lower need for sales.

This week on WCR Nation we are talking about my top 5 favorite ways to advertise. Sure there are about 1,000 ways you can advertise your company, but here are just a few of my favorites. Getting ads that bring in a high ROI is all about split testing. doing a few different versions of the same ad. This will let you see what people like and more importantly what part of your advertisement they don't like.

You may not have a million bucks to throw towards ads for your window cleaning company, but there are some really good free ways to advertise. If you could somehow create a machine that for every dollar you got back 5 dollars, you would put in as much as possible. That is what split tested marketing does. It just makes you money.

you dont want to be a jack of all trades, because you will be a master of none. But having a few add ons will increase you gross every single year. Trust is one of the most important small business attributes. Once your company has a clients trust you can sell them any service they need. You already have that, so why not let them know some other services you offer.

This is another episode in the top 5 series, and i hope you take away a thing or two. Having a window cleaning company but offering pressure washing, or gutter cleaning means you can sell any, or even better, all of those services.
