IN THIS EPISODE: (Dark Archives episode previously released July 27, 2018) *** Want to be sure you’ll have a paranormal experience? Simply walk into a known haunted house to spend a few nights, all the while saying out-loud “I don’t believe in no dang ghosts!” That’s what did it for one woman. (Cousin Evie And I Know The Truth) *** How would you react if your two-year-old came running into the room, saying he’s scared of a creepy image of a man in the mirror? (Creepy Memories) *** An innocent game of hide-n-seek at their grandparents’ house turns into terror. (Hide And Seek) *** Three children left for a sunny day at a south Australian beach and were never heard from again. (The Mysterious Disappearance of the Beaumont Children) *** American Airlines Flight 191 crashed in 1979, killing everyone on board – and it left something of the paranormal once the debris was cleared. (Flight 191 Disaster) *** On July 26, 1948, infamous Illinois gangster Bernie Shelton – by then acting leader of the Shelton Brothers gang – was shot to death at the Parkway Tavern, a roadhouse that he owned outside of Peoria. For years after, Bernie’s ghost was said to haunt the tavern, unable to move on after a lifetime of violence, murder, and regret. (Last Drink at the Parkway Tavern)

IN THIS EPISODE: (Dark Archives episode, previously aired July 18, 2018) A teenager shares his story of being abducted by aliens. You may dismiss it as a nightmare or sleep paralysis, but then how do you explain the injection marks on his body? (Tall Black Shiny Aliens) *** A Weirdo family member tells us why we should be cautious when we hear dogs howling. (When The Dogs Howl) *** Most stories about the men in black are of an aggressive nature, with victims being questioned by them, even threatened into remaining silent. But one man had a strange encounter where the MIB saved his life. (Helped By Four Men In Black) *** It’s always a bit scary sleeping in a new house that very first night. But sometimes, as one Weird Darkness fan discovered, there is reason to be frightened. (Whispers In The Night) *** They found the first body stuffed inside the church library's closet. Then a second body turned up. I’ll share the creepy case of Theo Durrant – San Francisco’s “Jack the Ripper”. (Demon of the Belfry) *** Outside of Washington, D.C. lies an abandoned institution with a thoroughly disturbing past. (The Madness of Forest Haven Asylum) *** It was a tale that most considered simply gossip, or the town’s urban legend. The rich and powerful made sure it stayed a secret; but all secrets eventually come to light – especially those covered in racism, tragedy, and hundreds of deaths. It’s the truth behind the Hawk’s Nest Tunnel tragedy. (Town Of The Living Dead)

HOUR ONE: Some believe it was a lone gun experiment. Others believe the whole incident was something from the paranormal. And still others say it was a case of mass hysteria. Who or what exactly was the Mad Gasser in Mattoon, Illinois - and the mysterious gasser of Virginia a decade earlier?

HOUR TWO: The spooklight phenomenon caused panic in a small Missouri community in the late 1800s – frightening many to the point of moving their family away. And today, the Joplin Spooklight is still a mystery that remains unsolved despite appearing several times a year. (The Mysterious Missouri Spooklights) *** Based on its name alone, you’d think the Gympie-Gympie plant is small, cute, and harmless. In reality, it’s one of the most dangerous plants in the world – and you’ll want to stay as far from it as possible. (The Deadly Gympie-Gympie) *** We’ll end the broadcast with one of the strangest funerals you’ve likely ever heard! (Polly Wanna Tombstone) *** But first… John Brennan Crutchley was no ordinary rapist and murderer. He added vampirism into his modus operandi. (The True Story of the Vampire Rapist)
