Back in November 2011, Adam was diagnosed with a form of aggressive bone cancer (osteosarcoma) in his left leg. Throughout 2012, Adam received intensive chemotherapy and, in April 2012, underwent limb salvage surgery to remove the tumour and save his leg.
To celebrate over 10 years in remission, Adam decided to take on the challenge of the 2023 London Marathon on crutches. Listen to today's episode to hear how Adam learnt to run on crutches, how he broke a (soon to be) official world record and why life changing moments like cancer shouldn't define you.
