Carman has many roles: entrepreneur, yoga teacher, healer, teacher, mom, rancher, wife, leader, woman. Her why in life is to model for her children that each one of us has the choice to shine our gifts to the world. Chronic inflammation is modern society’s greatest health threat. Studies state that three out of five people alive today will die due to chronic disease. But even though chronic inflammation can trigger genetic diseases, it is not in itself inevitable.

The only child of two therapists, Marie grew up hearing that it is ok to have bad days, but what she wanted to know was how to make those bad days better. Marie wrote her PhD about mainstream culture’s “stories“ about women and their power. She has been working as a coach since 2013. In her online program EVOLUTION, she teaches high-achieving women the system to grow into the next version of themselves.

In what ways have you been incapacitating yourself? Every day, people make choices that will keep them from realizing their dreams and achieving their goals. They will make excuses, get distracted by other things in their lives, and weeks turn into months, and then into years.

What I want you to ask yourself is this: what is it you would like to achieve until the end of the year? And what do you need to change about yourself in order to achieve it? Get as specific as you can. The only thing between where you are now and where you want to be is you.

For 35 years Shannon has practiced and trained in yoga, authentic movement,  meditation, western and eastern psychology, Ayurveda, and the Diamond Approach. She is always learning and evolving–integrating what she learns into teachings to support those with whom she works. 

​Shannon feels blessed with many wonderful teachers in yoga and Ayurveda who have helped her understand herself, the world, and her place in it. She has traveled all over the South Pacific and Southeast Asia and spent many months a year on the island of Bali through the 90′s where she developed a very deep connection with the people of Sayan Village near Ubud.  Shannon is a mother to a now, grown son, who is also a trained yoga teacher.
