Werewolf Ambulance: A Horror Movie Comedy Podcast

In this week's episode, we dig deep into the world of police work in the 1988 film "Maniac Cop." Special topics for your consideration include: Is Tom Atkins hot? Does Tom Atkins fuck a young beautiful woman? Does Tom Atkins pull off a weird trench coat look? (My answers are no/no/sorta, yeah!) And guys listen. You know we tend to have an ACAB stance on our show, so if you're gonna get salty and feel the need to reach out to us about it, please do me a favor and just don't.

Tom Atkins! You can catch him in Episode 52- "Halloween III: Season of the Witch," Episode 129- "The Fog," Episode 198- "My Bloody Valentine 3D," Episode 301- "Night of the Creeps," and if you're a Patrón of our show, you can access our action movies and hear us talk about him in "Escape from New York."

In this week's episode, we finally break down and let my cousin and yours (but mostly mine) Joe come on the podcast as a guest. We're discussing his pick, the 1954 "Godzilla." If you've not seen it yet, watch the subtitled Japanese language version and not the English dubbed version. Special topics for your consideration include: a real emotional roller coaster of a film, the problems with having two boyfriends, each of us choosing the saddest scene in the movie, and a heated debate about the creature design.

We love creature films! Well, some of them we hated. Find out which by listening to Episode 24- "Grabbers," Episode 135- "Creature from the Black Lagoon," Episode 148- "The Wolf Man," Episode 167- "The Ritual," Episode 184- "Tremors," Episode 219- "Attack of the Crab Monsters," or Episode 375- "Rawhead Rex."

Hey EMTs! We're on vacation this week, so please enjoy one of our all-time favorite vacation-gone-bad movies, "Midsommar." We'll see you next week for "Godzilla."

In this week's episode, we're discussing the brand new 2024 prequel "The First Omen." Yes, a prequel to that "The Omen." Special topics for your consideration include: some real extreme blasphemy as we go deep on Catholicism, a few spicy questions about what ol' Jesus is willing to do, trying and failing to upgrade our vocabulary to that of the times, and one of the absolute funniest hot-dogs-on-the-outside moments we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

We have covered a few entries in "The Omen" franchise: Episode 77 is the original, Episode 406 is the bafflingly named "Damien: The Omen 2." We'd also be remiss in talking about a prequel without mentioning our absolute favorite, "Orphan: First Kill" (Episode 399) and its corresponding original, Episode 395.

Hey guys, we're taking a vacation next week to celebrate our nation's independence. There's gonna be a lot of hot dogs on the outside and I'm gonna eat them. We'll see you in two weeks.

G'day mates and other stereotypically Australian things! This week, we're joined by our pal from Down Under, Pye, to discuss her pick: the 2014 zombie action film "Wyrmwood." Special topics for your consideration include: learning to speak Australian, legitimately new zombie ideas, nonshirts, new-to-us weaponry, and potentially our most irreparably horny episode EVER.

Want more Australian horror? Check out You might enjoy Episode 11- "The Babadook", Episode 255- "Lake Mungo," Episode 266- "The Loved Ones," or Episode 453- "Talk to Me."

In this week's episode, we're brought to you by giant beers as we discuss the 2022 survival film "Fall." Special topics for your consideration include: a real menagerie of diversions, the high price of adrenaline, baffling use of 1980s rock hits, YouTube people, and deep-seeded fears.

Maybe this week, just watch "The Descent" it's Episode 116.

Listener note: due to a glitchy mic, we had to lose a few minutes of this episode. Unfortunately that's where we put all the good jokes so we apologize for that.

In this week's episode, we decided to ask our Patróns to suggest some queer-friendly horror films, and many of them mentioned the 2022 film "Bodies Bodies Bodies." Special topics for your consideration include: the absolute oldest we have ever felt, Pete Davidson's hog, an unintentional game of "Celebrities Katie Doesn't Know," being a real Alice, and how rich people have more fun than we do.

In this week's episode, we're living through yet another zombie apocalypse with the 2009 horror comedy "Zombieland." Special topics for your consideration include: a fitting tribute to an American treasure, controversial takes on snack cakes, our feelings on Columbus (both the city and the person), keeping up one's everyday makeup routine during the apocalypse, and the delights of Woody Harrelson.

Zombies! We've covered so many zombie movies that I can't list them all here, so maybe just go scope out "Return of the Living Dead" (Episode 17) and "Return of the Return of the Living Dead" (Episode 339) where I thought it was possible that maybe I was too hard on it the first time, so we gave it another go.

Hey EMTs, Allen and I have always been pretty open about our mental health with you, and unfortunately this week we just were not in the headspace to make jokes about "The Sacrament," the really very good 2013 Ti West film about the Jonestown massacre. We recorded about 18 minutes of content and they were shit; we tried eating Oreos and even that didn't help. Sometimes things just have to hit the cutting room floor. Don't come for us.

All that being said, we hope you enjoy this episode from our action movie Patreon-only podcast covering "Mad Max: Fury Road" and we'll be back on the main cast again next week with "Zombieland."

Oh! and "The Sacrament" is a 9 from both of us, Sour Patch Kids Oreos are an absolute 0. Good lord.

Katie is on vacation so you get a rare Allen write up. This week's movie a low for a time known as a horror deadzone. But we make the most of it and bring you over an hour of yuck yucks.

Special topics include: being a poor man's Ethan Hawke. Why is it so dark? Why is it so wet? Unwanted advertisements. When a movie tried to be every other movie.

You know where to find us. Tell your friends. Thank you all for being the best. We truly appreciate you all.
