A little over 30 years after it premiered, Batman: The Animated Series is back! (Kind of.) Caped Crusader takes the form of a spiritual sequel to WB's hit '90s series, though one closer to Bruce Timm's original pitch. This time around, the cartoonish qualities are replaced with pure noir, making this a more subtle, moody, and adult series.
