What a Creep John Edwards John Edwards was a US Senator for North Carolina and the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 2004 with John Kerry for President. He also ran for president in 2008. But also, he’s a creep who cheated on his wife while she was dying from cancer and misused campaign funds to keep his mistress a secret, which back in the day was enough to ruin your political career. They were also tax-evading billionaires, who often tried to get out of paying people for their work. Leona, in particular, was known as the Queen of Mean, because she would yell at her employees and treated them like crap. What a Creep  Season 5, Episode 9 Frank Sinatra   Francis Albert Sinatra is one of the most celebrated vocalists of the 20th Century. He has sold over 150 million records and continues to sell just as well now as he did at the height of his height popularity.  He was known for his blue eyes and velvet voice He was one of the first teen heartthrobs, a lover of women, a man who would just as soon get into a fight and then hug a person. He was demanding of everyone around him but outside of music & performing—cut himself a lot of slack.  Frank was a loyal friend unless you pissed him off, a good actor if you didn’t ask for too many takes, a lover who expected fidelity and gave none of it back. He was incredibly progressive for his time but used ethnic slurs without care. Frank ran on all cylinders until he ran out of gas. Then he expected to be treated with kid gloves. He loved his kids but did not spend much time with them. He could be very generous and also hold a grudge for years. He could be elegant and a total brute. Demanding and then pathetic. He was either a manic depressive or bipolar individual who at times could be a complete and total creep. What a Creep  Season 5, Episode 4 Jerry Lee Lewis    Jerry Lee Lewis is considered one of the pioneers of rock n roll. In 1957, he came onto the music scene with his first big hit “Whole Lotta Shakin Goin’ On”. He was nicknamed “the Killer” and was amazing on the piano. With Elvis Presley heading for a stint in the Army—it was pretty much agreed upon by rock journalists that Jerry Lee Lewis would become the new king of rock. In 1958 he was on his first international tour when it was discovered the 22-year-old Killer was married to his 13-year-old cousin Myra Gale Brown. This would be his third wife and he was not technically divorced from his second wife at the time. This would essentially destroy his career for a while but in the 60s & 70s, he made a big comeback as a country music artist. He was inducted in the rock and roll hall of fame the first year they gave out the awards. In 1989 his life story was told in a very strange movie called Great Balls of Fire starring Dennis Quaid as Lewis. Aged 84 and still kicking—Jerry Lee Lewis is married to his 7th wife. Two of his past wives died under strange circumstances and he has a reputation for being a stubborn, gun-toting, drug-taking nightmare which makes him the perfect for our show. What a Creep Season 5, Episode 2 Phil Spector Phil Spector is one of the most celebrated record producers and songwriters of all time who created the world-famous “Wall of Sound.” He’s worked with everyone from the Ronnettes, to the Righteous Brothers, the Beatles, the Ramones, and the Wrecking Crew. He was inducted into the rock and roll of fame in 1989. Rolling Stone magazine named #63 of the top 100 artists of all time.  Some of his most famous compositions include: To Know Him Is To Love Him, Be My Baby, Spanish Harlem, He’s a Rebel, Da Doo Run Run, River Deep, and Mountain High, Imagine, Chapel of Love, He Hit Me (And it Felt Like a Kiss,) Let It Be and Rock & Roll High School.  A few artists who claim to be influenced by him are Bruce Springsteen, ABBA, Meatloaf, and Jim Steinman.  He is one of the few music producers who are as famous and celebrated as the stars he worked with and is truly a legend who changed the music world forever.  Today he sits in a prison cell in Stockton, CA serving 19 years to life for the killing of actress Lana Clarkson at his home in 2003. So how did he wind up here?
