To help families separate myth from science, pediatricians, scientists, and infant-nutrition experts from the Mead Johnson Nutrition Institute have launched FactsAboutFormula.com, a new evidence-based website designed for parents who supplement or choose formula feeding.  One of the interesting things we learned from our guest, pediatrician and neonatologist Prem Forte, MD, is that corn syrup solids in infant formula are actually good as a source of energy the baby needs to grow.  That’s different from high fructose corn syrup, which is NOT in formula.Important distinction.
