In this episode, I am sharing the some thoughts on boundaries, what we allow, how to recognize when we are carrying things that don’t serve us, and some practical tips for how to work though the process of letting go when we realize that we are carrying things that are not ours to carry. This is a concept that affects and impacts so many of us, especially when it comes to building a business in the online space, as well as so many of us being disconnected or hiding behind our phones or devices. In this episode, we discuss: 1) Boundaries are our highest form of self-respect, we choose what we allow into our lives. That is people, energy, experiences, how we choose to feel, all of it is on us and it is our responsibility. 2) What we allow is what will continue. It honestly is that simple. When you change your response with someone in your life and put a boundary in place, don't automatically elevate your expectations of their behaviour. Their behaviour is always their choice. 3) Get real, honest and raw with yourself. When something isn’t working in your life, what can you change, what can you do differently, and how can you bring it back to ownership to see what is missing in your life?
