Last week Oregon Football landed a massive commitment from 5-star offensive lineman in the Class of 2022, Josh Connerly Jr.--who chose the Ducks over several other high-profile schools. The Oregon Football coaching staff was seen on video FIRED UP to have landed Connerly, and there are a lot of positive ramifications for the Ducks having gotten this commitment.

Among the reasons getting Josh Connerly Jr. is more important than some other high-profile recruits are where he comes from and who wanted him. Oregon's new staff is showing an ability to attract the top talent in the region which could bode well for the coming years on the recruiting trail, while also beating out other high-profile schools. Another encouraging sign is that Dan Lanning and co. took over mid-cycle, and landing one of the 10 highest-rated recruits in school history should have Duck fans excited about future recruiting endeavours.

Oregon Basketball has roster uncertainty right now as they look ahead to the 2022-23 college basketball season. Eric Williams, Jacob Young, and Franck Kepnang will all be continuing their careers or playing professionally elsewhere. De'Vion Harmon is returning, but others like Will Richardson and N'Faly Dante have not yet announced their plans. What are the expectations for those guys and others like Quincy Guerrier?
