We stay true to this show's name and go OFF THE RAILS for a few minutes. What if DeShone Kizer and Jaylon Smith had returned to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team for one more year in 2017? Technically, it could have happened. Would the Irish have beat the Georgia Bulldogs, Miami-Florida Hurricanes, and Stanford Cardinal that year? Would they have won a playoff game? Does this technicality prove that Notre Dame may be closer to greatness than detractors would lead you to believe?
