This week, a woman in Texas made headlines around the world after she was banned from accessing an abortion despite being told it was necessary to “preserve [her] life”. According to her lawyers,  it is the first case filed on behalf of a pregnant person seeking an emergency abortion since Roe. V Wade was overturned.
