Our guest this week is writer, critic and artist Lucy Sante. Lucy is the author of several books exploring subcultures and urban history, including Low Life: Lures and Snares of New York and a frequent contributor to the New York Review of Books. In 2021, at the age of 67, she transitioned, and we’re talking about her new memoir about that experience: I Heard Her Call My Name: A Memoir of Transition.
