Instagrams favorite Etiquette coach William Hanson says that for social occasions i.e. you are going to someone’s house for a dinner etc., you should arrive 10 to 15 minutes after the stated arrival time. Anele says It’s apparently impolite to arrive on time when invited to someone’s house. I also hate it when people arrive before the time, now she is still setting up and you are getting in the way.
