The Lupus Foundation of America and BMJ are joining forces to publish Lupus Science and Medicine, the first open access lupus scientific journal.

Joint editor-in-chief Ronald van Vollenhoven, also head of the Unit for Clinical Therapy Research, Inflammatory Diseases, Karolinska Institutet, discusses what readers and authors can expect from the journal.
