Arizona State Sun Devils football visits San Marcos, Texas to play the Texas State Bobcats football team tomorrow night for their final out-of-conference game, and the game has more weight to it than what it appears to have on the surface. On the line for Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils is a chance to start the 2024 season 3-0, a mark they haven't achieved since 2019. For a Sun Devils football program that has won just three games in each of the last two seasons, calling that an accomplishment to match that win total in three weeks would be an understatement. It would also be three wins over teams who expect to go bowling this postseason and programs that match up well to where the Sun Devils are now. The bottom line, Arizona State Sun Devils football has a lot on the line in this game and a win can impact the rest of your season. To win the game Dillingham must place his trust in coordinators Marcus Arroyo and Brian Ward, who will be in charge of balancing the offense with Sam Leavitt and snuffing out a great Texas State rushing attack respectively.
