It seems like just yesterday I met the incredible Tillie Johnston. the Yarra Valley girl, who traversed the cool climate wine trail before setting up shop, for at least the present, back home in the Yarra Valley. Tillie has been tirelessly working to consolidate her success and the fruits of the harvest are looking good, with Tillie recently winning the People’s Choice Award at the Australian Young Gun Awards, an award series dedicated to fostering the young talent in the Aus Wine Industry. So, Tillie and I agreed that we were overdue for a catchup – we caught up on Tillie’s recent work and upcoming additions to her range, while also talking about her recent success - and insights into crafting wine in the Yarra Valley. She is absolutely one of my favourites and as always, I’m beyond grateful for her taking the time to join me.
