After three long, grueling years, the NCA has finally passed down its judgment on the Arizona State Sun Devils football program for the recruiting violations Herm Edwards and the Sun Devils staff committed during the COVID-19 dead period. It's been a long time coming and one that fans have been eagerly awaiting to be over and done with. The NCAA has given Edwards a five-year show-cause penalty, as well as six other staffers for their involvement with the violations. Additionally, Arizona State Sun Devils football will lose one scholarship for this recruiting cycle and a four-week suspension from recruiting this summer. The final piece of the puzzle was a four-year probation for the program which just means that they cannot make any more violations or infractions or they will face a more serious punishment. With everything settled, it's time to turn the page, but we are still curious how Kenny Dillingham and the rest of the program, and even the fans will respond to what happens next.
