5-star QB Dante Moore has Oregon fans buzzing with a potentially looming commitment that has been tied to the Ducks. With the "dead period" of no campus visitors underway, the upcoming month of July could (hopefully) be a busy one as far as 2023 commitments go for Oregon and Dan Lanning's staff. Moore was recently in California shining brightly at the Elite 11 camp, which included completing a unique passing skill drill that many other top QB prospects (and current power 5 QBs) struggled with.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer is joined by John Garcia Jr., director of recruiting for Sports Illustrated. John shares his insight as to when commitments will start rolling in and when is a fair time to fully assess Oregon's 2023 recruiting class. He also talks about where Oregon stands with a variety of 4-star 2023 recruits: OL Miles McVay, DE Colton Vasek, and DL Terrance Green.

They conclude talking about two recruits that Oregon has had on campus that come from outside the state of Texas. 4-star DL Dashawn Womack, from the state of Maryland, is heavily considering regional and SEC schools but so far is keeping the Ducks in the mix. Kayin Lee, a Georgia native, is a 4-star safety who hails from a state where Dan Lanning developed extensive ties during his time as the Bulldogs' defensive coordinator.
