Dave is bringing his A Game this week. He reckons this topic is the reason we have this podcast at all! He'd better deliver...
Aaaand, annoyingly, he does. Well, not him but his expert, Gillen Darcy Wood, a hugely qualified man who has literally written the book on Mount Tambora and its huge effects on our planet and its people. Neil does get rather worried about humanity's imminent doom from a volcanic event but is also mildly distracted by a new space movie franchise and Elton John's Mexican food truck.

It's Tulipmania baby! "What's that?", we hear you ask. The Bloom Festival-Wrestlemania crossover we were all hoping for? Unfortunately, nope. But it's probably even more interesting! Neil has persuaded economist, broadcaster and author David McWilliams into talking us through the tulip bulb mania that swept across 17th century Holland, a time when one bulb could cost 20 times the wage of a skilled worker!
If that's not enough we also get an update on Dave's World Record and Neil explains how your dog's face is manipulating you.
Don't say we don't spoilt you.

Neil is talking all things cheating this week, covering everything from the musketeer electrician who tried to cheat his way to Olympic gold to how Rudolph gets the shift, the sneaky f**ker! The lads are joined by immunologist and doctor of medicine, Dr Lara Dungan, to talk them the through the ins and outs of the most performance-enhancing drug of them all, CONFIDENCE!
No, sorry. Not, confidence. EPO. Or Erythropoietin, If you're a doctor. Which Lara is. And the lads are not.

The Nasdaq for sneakers (shouldn't that be Foot-SE?) is the topic of this episode. The lads reveal your next investment opportunity and Neil is back on UK TV with an appearance on Celebrity Pointless! It does not go as planned! This week, Dave's finally gets to immerse us in the world of sneakers and what a world it is! Just how many pairs of shoes does one man need?!? The lads are joined by Sneaker culture royalty! Josh Luber is the co-founder of Stock X, the Stock Exchange for Sneakers, and chief vision officer of Fanatics Playing Cards. How did he turn his love for data and sneakers into a billion dollar company, why did he leave it and just which piece of cardboard with someone's face on it did he recently buy for $55,000?!?

Dave's got some questions for Neil and for us all: How tall is a trillion dollars? Who invested in Leonardo the Musical? How do you become the richest nation on earth? You know, pretty basic Dave stuff. Chief Economist with DNB, Kjersti Haugland, is here to reveal Norway's secrets to financial success!

Neil wants to tell you about the Bajau people, who are sea nomads with an incredible ability to free dive. Geneticist, Melissa Ilardo, reveals why they might be able do things we can't. Speaking of which, what is Dave so good at that he holds an actual Guinness World Record? And is this the worst end to any podcast episode ever?

It's Dave's turn to answer the WWYTMT?! question and he's found out the most important number in the world. He's very pleased about this and wants you to know it's not what you think! Will Neil guess it? (Spoiler alert - no, he won't) We also hear about the richest man that's ever lived. And, as if that wasn't enough, diversity linguist Daniel W. Hieber explains why a hundred didn't always mean a hundred.
