This family-friendly event showcases more than 30 vintage police cars and cruisers from across the country. There also will be demonstrations of RI State Police equipment, vehicles and specialty units, including a demonstration by the RI State Police Canine Unit starting at 12:30 p.m. In addition, there will be fun activities for all ages including Dunk-a-Trooper, a bounce house, a Boulder-Dash course and more. The festival is presented by the Wakefield Rotary Club, and proceeds from this event benefit several charities. The South County Balloon Festival features Tethered Hot Air Balloon rides* in morning and evening, family entertainment, crafters, carnival rides, car show, food vendors, live music (Friday & Saturday Nights), Balloon Glow* (Fri, Sat), fishing pond, bounce houses, and lots of other family fun. Entry is payable at the gate. Balloon rides* and carnival rides have additional fee.
