Wikishuffle episodes

  • 055 - Some Indecent Proposals
A sad John Prescott. A naughty Oscar Pistorious. A smug Ian Duncan Smith and a Chocolaty Anthea Turner. Episode 55 is scandalous in more ways than one, and you get to find out a bit about the gang's pre-teen romances. Everything your heart desires. So long as you're willing to pay for it.

  • 054 - (BONUS) Death by Orange Soda (with Alex Haddow from the-pool.com)
As was prophesied by the Ancient Ones, Alex Haddow from out of off of the-pool.com has joined us for the second week in a row, and she's brought along some more Wikipedia articles for us to take a gander at. Presumably spurred on by the return of the X-Files, we get to grips with another brace of whack job conspiracy theories, and throw in a few subliminal messages along the way.Send us a postcard...Wikishuffle HQ1B HeadlandsKetteringNN15 7ER...and we'll send you one back.

  • 053 - Unsolicited Dick Pics
If Bjork has taught us just one thing, it's that swans are for wearing, not eating or shagging - a lesson to which Chris has taken heed. He also tells us about some philanthropic deeds performed during the week, so over all he comes off well. Jack, on the other hand...

  • 052 - (BONUS) The Lizard Layer (with Alex Haddow from the-pool.com)
Doing our bit for diversity in media, we can now formally say that 0.6% of the hosting duties on Wikishuffle to date have been carried out by a woman. Specifically, by Alex Haddow, picture editor of the-pool.com who is our first pod-guest, and we're very pleased to have her. Largely because her celebrity anecdotes are WAY better than ours (and that's just the one we could broadcast). She's brought some Wikipedia articles with her and they're right good. So good in fact that we didn't have time for them all, so you can expect part two of this bonus episode to appear next Friday.

  • 051 - All You Can Diddle
So episode 51 then, and we're all quite tired after a long day recording our two bonus episodes that we'll be releasing over the next two Fridays with the fabulous Alex Haddow. But she's not on this episode, so instead you get to hear the three of us blather on about a couple of Wikipedia articles we random-articled on over to.WARNING - Something bad happened to Phil's microphone halfway through recording. You can hear him, but he sounds a lot like he's in a cave. What a pile of bobba.

  • 050 - Lying to the Pizza Man
Where Chris gives us a Hippo Campus update, Jack talks us through his plans for finally nailing down that Michelin star and Philip misidentifies Myanmar as Cambodia, the massive idiot. Plus we admonish the creepy and defend the ugly. Bootiful. It's our astounding fiftieth episode, and now we're not just talking about Wikipedia, we're on Wikipedia, too:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikishuffle

  • 049 - Henry Maar's Sinister Twisting
Chris is holding his Hippo Campus cards very close to his chest this week, so we get on with undermining a respected academic, besmirching the good name of some war veterans and blithely dismissing a perfectly innocent hobby. Sometimes I worry we might be dicks.

  • 048 - Welcome to the Hippo Campus
We're distracted this week, distracted and sad from the unprecedented amount of David Bowie death that's been going down. Although we try and pull things back with an eighteenth century dentist and a bit of Mary Poppins, we might be beyond salvation. Chris does manage to get his creative juices flowing though.

  • 047 - Runaway Twain
Runaway twain, never looking back, wrong way down a one-way twack. How many other podcasts launch their episode description with a Soul Asylum reference? Not bloody many. This week we're in Denmark, Colorado via Manchester and we may have unleashed an evil force in Japan.

  • 046 - Tropical House: A Beginner's Guide
We're back off our Christmas holidays for the first Wikishuffle of 2016. And to celebrate, Phil's taken over the editing for a bit. We take a trip through the emotionally challenged monarchs of history, and then do a spot of prospecting in the Wild West. Of Canada.Follow us on twitter @wikishufflepod, or send us some post at Wikishuffle HQ, 1B Headlands, Kettering, NN15 7ER.
