Philadelphia Phillies Manager, Rob Thomson, seems to love him. He’s still owed $36 million over the next two seasons. A trade, without the Phillies eating a majority of the remaining salary, is unlikely. He has the ability to refuse an outright assignment and still get paid due to service time accrued. So does this mean that Taijuan Walker has an inside track at the final roster spot in the Phillies bullpen? Or maybe even a rotation spot?
