Today I am joined by Traci Schubert Barrett, and after a brief introductory call, I just knew I had to have her on the podcast.
She is one of the founders who started HGTV which is just unbelievable.
Traci has since left corporate America, and is the author of "What if There's More."
She is also married, and a mother to two daughters so she's winning at home and she's winning at work.
So what a treat to have her on. I look forward to hearing your feedback on today's episode.
In this episode, you'll discover…
Traci's Bio:
As one of the founding team members of HGTV: Home & Garden Television, Traci Schubert Barrett enjoyed the exciting and amazing ride of taking an idea and turning it into a billion-dollar media empire, but after over two decades in the television industry, with a family and plenty of life ahead, success was no longer the beacon it once was.
What if there is more to our vocational journey than just a pursuit of success?
Traci took a risk and walked away from the comfort of corporate life to embark on a soul-searching journey – one that would answer her questions, validate her instincts, and change her life forever.
Traci is a successful business owner, innovative entrepreneur, bestselling author, international speaker, and executive coach. She has decades of experience in corporate America, has been part of a billion-dollar start-up, managed all-size teams, owns a seven-figure business, and is a working parent, juggling it all.

Today I sit down with Lindsey Roy. I was introduced to her through a mutual connection who thought she would be a great fit to be on the podcast.
After some research, I was blown away by her story and was so grateful when she agreed to come on the show. 10 years ago, Lindsey was in a serious boating accident, which lead to an amputation. Then just 10 months ago, she underwent a double lung transplant.
Not only has she kept a positive outlook during these trials, but she has continued to win at work, and at home. She is a successful business leader with Hallmark, a wife for 15 years, and a mother to 2 kids.
Her story is one of resilience and faith that I think all of us could learn and be encouraged by.

Lindsey has spent over eighteen years in the corporate environment, leading teams in innovation, digital development, and product merchandising.
She was named Vice-President at Hallmark Cards at just thirty-two years old, one of the youngest VPs ever in a company with over a 100-year history, and in the top 1% of brands worldwide. Lindsey combines her unique life experience, corporate background, and emotional intelligence to truly connect with audiences.

This week's podcast has received great feedback already!
I was fortunate enough to have Eric Wood, Former NFL player for the Buffalo Bills join me on the 'Win at Home First' podcast.
His story is one that I think so many of us can relate to. I know, I know, not the NFL player part, but the disappointment part.
45 minutes before his son was born, Eric got news his NFL career was over!
Similarly to many of us, from time to time, he would take his identity to what he did.
Who is he if he is no longer in the NFL?
What value will he bring to others when he loses the status?
I believe this episode can help all of us when it comes to tying our identity, to WHO we are, instead of WHAT we do. Plus he wins at home and in his faith - great conversation!
In this episode, you'll discover…
What is the key trait to win at home and at work? (1:20)
How Eric stays intentional, despite being busy. (2:15)
'What's next' for Eric? (7:03)
'Dad, you sound angry. (17:21)
His football career is suddenly over. (24:50)
Identity. Why is it so important? (32:53)
Eric's Bio:
Eric Wood is a former NFL center for the Buffalo Bills where he was an immediate starter, 2 time Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, and a pro bowler. Eric played his entire 9-season NFL career for the Bills before an unexpected spinal injury ultimately ended his on-field career in 2018. Now, he has a clear direction for what he'd like to do in his post-playing career.
