1. The Slender Man Stabber, who cut off her Department of Corrections monitoring bracelet over the weekend, just made her first appearance in court since running away. 23-year-old Morgan Geyser is in trouble again, after leaving the group home where she was placed in Madison and traveling to Illinois with a friend. Geyser is being held in the Cook County Jail until she's extradited back here to Wisconsin. That's what today's court hearing was about. New charges would come out of Dane County. This is a case that shocked our community and made headlines around the world. In 2014, Geyer and Anissa Weier lured a friend into the woods in Waukesha and stabbed her 19 times to appease the fictional character known as Slender Man. The victim just barely survived. Geyser spent seven years in the Winnebago Health Institute in Oshkosh, before being placed into the group home this fall. It will be up to the state to decide whether her conditional release should be revoked.

2. The first snowstorm of the season will bring significant snowfall to areas of Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin. Say hello to winter storm, Alston! 5-8 inches of snow is expected in Northwestern Wisconsin, think around Rice Lake. The Lake Superior Snowbelts could see a foot or more. In Minnesota, Rain transitions to snow this evening with hazardous to impossible travel overnight due to reduced visibility and blowing snow. A winter storm warning goes into effect this evening in Minneapolis and surrounding areas.

3. Waddle and Wobble! Waddle, one of two thanksgiving turkeys to be pardoned by President Trump, walked out into the White House briefing room this morning and gobbled to the delight of the White House press corps. Both Waddle and Wobble will be pardoned by the President.

ABC News Investigative Reporter Peter Charalambous talks about how a federal judge on Monday dismissed the criminal cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James on the grounds that the appointment of the U.S. attorney who brought the indictments was invalid. The judge dismissed the charges without prejudice, meaning the cases could potentially be refiled by an appropriately appointed U.S. attorney. “The facts of the indictments against Comey and James have not changed and this will not be the final word on this matter," a White House spokeswoman said to ABC News. One of the big and immediate questions is whether the DOJ will keep Halligan in the position should it decide to appeal. It also raises questions about everything Halligan has touched since taking office.

1. "She ran because of me." That's what the man who was arrested with Slender Man attacker Morgan Geyser is saying. Chad Mecca, also known as Charly, called the ABC TV station in Madison on Monday to explain his relationship with Geyser and what happened over the weekend. Mecca explained he met Geyser at church and she opened up to him about her past. A past that includes repeatedly stabbing a classmate in the woods in Waukesha and almost killing her in 2014. When Mecca called WKOW, he said he saw Geyser at the group home in Madison nearly every day for the last month. He said she wanted to leave because they were going to take away Mecca's visiting rights. Mecca is from Janesville. He was charged with Criminal Trespass and Obstructing Identification. Police released him. Geyser is awaiting extradition back here to Wisconsin. She's currently being held in the Cook County Jail.

2. More arrests overseas over last month's robbery of jewels from the Louve. If 8 people are now in custody, how come the jewels are still MIA? Officials believe the jewels have been broken into smaller, untraceable stones and sold individually or incorporated into new, unidentifiable pieces of jewelry. This was a seven-minute, broad-daylight robbery using physical access via a cherry picker and an unsecured window. The revelation has caused significant embarrassment and scrutiny for the museum, highlighting years of underinvestment in security and outdated software.

3. Today is an extremely busy travel day for the holiday. 90% of people will be driving. That's 73 million of you. The busiest days are today, tomorrow, and Sunday. The worst time to hit the road today is between noon and 9 p.m. Tomorrow, you're going to want to get going before 11 a.m. And here’s another big number for you, 1.2 million people will be taking a train.

1. New details about the arrest of one of the Slender Man attackers. Morgan Geyser was arrested in Posen, Illinois last night, after investigators say she cut off her Department of Corrections monitoring bracelet and left the group home where she had been placed. Now police in Posen are revealing how they found Geyser and what she said when they did. Investigators say Posen officers were dispatched to a truck stop for a man and woman who were loitering behind the building. When officers arrived at the truck stop, they found Geyser and a man sleeping on the sidewalk. They say Geyser repeatedly refused to provide her real name and initially gave a false one. Eventually she said she didn’t want to tell officers who she was because she had “done something really bad.” Geyser suggested that officers “just Google” her name. Once she provided her true identity, officers confirmed the woman was indeed Geyser. She and the man were taken into custody without incident.

2. Public health experts have already warned of a worse-than-usual flu season this year and an unexpected influenza variant is raising new red flags. The virus acquired several genetic mutations after this year's seasonal flu vaccine was formulated...the mutations are genetically distinct from the vaccine's target strain which has already been developed. While the current flu vaccine may not be a perfect match, early data from the UK suggests it is still effective at preventing severe illness and hospitalization (around 70-75% effective in children and 30-40% in adults). Health experts strongly recommend vaccination as the best defense.
