Over the past four years I have grown and evolved through what I am now realizing is a spiritual awakening experience. That is, awakening to the spirit within me and allowing it the space to grow and govern my intelligence. Today, I am recounting a story that led me to see just how much my emotions were not serving my highest self (my spirit) and how I started to change that. Through spiritual concepts and scientific information, I have learned how to embrace the idea that my thoughts and emotions create my reality. In this episode, I specifically reference two books; Becoming Supernatural by Joe Dispenza and How Emotions are Made by Lisa Feldman Barrett.

We all have the power to create our realities, it just may take a few tries to get it to where we want it to be. I believe in you and your journey and that is why I share mine, as inspiration for you.

Over the past four years I have grown and evolved through what I am now realizing is a spiritual awakening. That is, awakening to the spirit that lies within myself and allowing it the space to grow and lead the way! I am recounting my "steps" through this process - how I awakened to each idea with stories and examples to go along with it. After going through the first 3 steps, I really started focusing on my internal cycles and patterns of behavior. If I really wanted to change into a person I believed in, loved and stood by, I needed to form self compassion to do that. Self compassion has led me into so many new versions of myself, and hopefully after listening to this episode it will help you, too!
