I was looking for some research that talking about why reading was important and I stumbled across an article on the Reader’s Digest website. I do not know when the article was written or posted, but the information is relevant.

Now, you know how I feel about reading, books, ebooks, and knowledge in general. I mean, common, I am the creator of the book study podcast, right? Rrrrrright. Scripture reference: John 5:1-18

Today, we are talking about part 2 of the episode, “Do You Wanna Be Made Whole?” (episode #42) by Apostle Bernard Boulton. If you haven’t listened to part 1, it’s number 41 and I would suggest you go back and listen to part 1 first. In part 1, Apostle Bernard goes into what an apostle is opposed to a pastor, he speaks in detail about his background of being a pastor, his bout with depression, and how he came to be who he is today, which is a husband, father, a biblical historian, prophet, author, speaker, mentor, and a spiritual and business coach.

The book centers around 4 main characters with Pastor Maxwell being the main characters. It about the interesting twists and turns of their lives. The book starts out with Theo Dexter, a successful owner of a construction company, who finds out his wife is cheating on him; Dr. Adam Jones, a college professor with a roving eye towards anything with a skirt; Michael Cain, a world renowned evangelist who suffers from depression after the death of his wife and the twins she was carrying; and finally, Pastor Maxwell, the mentor and spiritual advisor to the 3 men.

Also in this episode, Apostle Bernard talks about his coaching call about dysfunctional families and how to get breakthroughs in the area of family dynamics.
